no idea, thats just what it says on the listings

Jodie Marsh comes into the parlour for the tattoo of a Fifties-style style pin-up girl and Dan turns up six hours late for Olympic high jumper Ben Challenger

Nicole gives her a pin up that resembles herself. rolleyes.gif

I don't watch these programmes TBH, I'm kinda glad if they have to scrape the barrel with the likes of Marsh.

Nicole has an interview in the Daily Star supplement today.

tbh if its on and I'm flicking through the channels I'll watch it but I certainly wouldn't sky+ it.... I'm really losing interest in these programmes because its not about the tattoos as much as it is the sob stories

sorry just my opinion

its true but at the same time they couldn't just have a string of people coming in to get tattoos randomly. it would make it less interesting for people who aren't especially into tattoos i guess

I don't think people without tattoos would watch such shows.

Its never really about the tattoo, like Keli said, its about how your greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreat grandad died.

The show is about tattoos and IMO should be geared toward enthusiasts more. I would rather watch randoms getting tattooed than Jodie Marsh etc....

Tattoo/Ink Wars FTW.

LOL They were always sailors though Braidy don't forget that! am guessing they had no army back then just navy?

I agree with you the show is about tattoos and should be aimed as us tattoo jammers ;).gif lol

I'd like to see the half hour of bull shit cut out then I'd watch it religiously

now am just tired and being harsh but I want to watch a programme about tattoos showing me the amazing tattoos these amazing artists are turning out. Not some big breasted, over frazzled, permatanned with wood stain, cocktail waitress sobbing about her 94 year old dog carking it

Ink wars is what it's all about right now biggrin.gif

I agree Kel.

I want too see a variation of tattooers, not just Phil, Dan & Nicole, tattooing z listers. I want to see more real enthusiasts , not Jodiefuckingmarsh rolleyes.gif

People always say to me "Oh I watch London/Miami/LA Ink, did you the see the one where....." And its like FFS I don't watch them.

I mean/t an interest in tattoos.

I know of people who aren't tattooed that watch them also, but who also think that these tattooers are the only tattooers in the world.

If it was based on the real scene then it would be alot better.

i dont know anyone who has watched who thinks theyre the only tattoo artists in the world.

a lot of people i know who have watched it out of interest have found it very informative and interesting, giving them an insight into the tattoo world they wouldnt otherwise have had.

Any programme which gives an insight to people who wouldnt otherwise have had one is pretty cool by me.

i think it could also help a little with acceptance of tattoo and tattooed people around the world. if they see someone on tv who has gone through a difficult time and they can relate to that person, maybe it wont seem so strange for people "like them" to be/get tattooed.

to a certain extent I agree with ya, but everyone that were too ignorant about 'the tattooed people' before the london/miami/la ink shows ask why you got it as if it has to have a meaning or its a waste of ink and/or skin

in my experience anyway I cant comment on what your friends or family make of the shows ofc

I know plenty of people blinded by the fact that the only tattooers who are any good are the ones on the Ink shows.

Informative isn't a word I would use, esp when people are still going to butchers for tattooers.

IMO I don't think that these shows help with acceptance of tattooed people.
I do know that the Ink show have certainly boosted more people to get (bad) tattoos, and more people to take up scratching in their dingy stinking homes.

Your friends however, must be more educated then mine when it comes to tattoos, considering one of the main topics of conversation with my friends is tattoos.
