Tattoo Master Magazine

As proud hosts of the day and the evenings Tattoo Masters' Ball, the magazine will be celebrating our 3rd Birthday! First launched at TattooJam 2008, the magazine continues to grow from strength to strength, and I would personally like to thank all the UK artists and our growing overseas artists who regularly purchase, read and contribute to each issue.

Tattoo Master is the trade magazine for the tattoo industry and is ONLY be available to registered tattoo artists, piercers and trade within the tattoo industry.

Tattoo Master’s content is aimed directly at working artists, looking for detailed and concise articles from world-renowned tattooists, along with the latest equipment news, reviews, historic articles, master classes, and features on other art mediums. Moreover, Tattoo Master provides a means of sharing information and progressing our beloved art form.

Guest Editors – Each issue is fronted and shaped by a renowned artist. We ask for their input to bring you an issue that reflects their influences and views on the world. Guest editors so far have included: Louis Molloy, Woody, Kore Flatmo, Horiyoshi III, Jo Harrison, Jason Butcher, Sean Herman, Paul Naylor, Leah Moule, Lal Hardy, Brandon Bond and John Anderton.

Artist Interviews – We talk to the world’s best about how they do things and ask them to unveil some of their technical prowess to you.

News & Product Reviews – We feature a guest spot diary, news about new products, machine, DVD and seminar reviews, along with anything and everything related to the industry.

Historic Features – Taking tours of tattoo museums and speaking to the men who came before us in the tattooing world, the historic articles are a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Start To Finish Articles – A detailed walkthrough guide on tattooing/ oil painting/ watercolours etc. including pictures at each crucial stage and a full commentary from the artist themselves.

Interviews with Machine Builders – Bringing you features about the men behind the machines, including coil, rotary and pneumatic builders.

Tips and Tricks – From breaking down and rebuilding a machine to black and grey shading techniques and everything in between, this will be an Aladdin’s cave of information!
